Transportation Procedures
Arrival Procedures
- Parents may drop their students off between 7:05am and 7:25am
- Car riders will enter through the front entrance of the school
- Bus riders will enter through the back entrance of the school
- Walkers will enter through the front entrance of the school
Car Riders
- Please make sure your child has their mask on when they arrive on campus. Staff members will take temperatures of each child. After the temperature is taken the child will exit the car if the temperature is less than 100.3. PLEASE MAKE SURE YOUR CHILD IS READY TO EXIT THE CAR AS SOON AS THE TEMPERATURE IS TAKEN. This will speed up wait time for the cars that are in line.CARS WILL STAY IN LANE 1. LANE 2 WILL BE USED FOR CARS THAT HAVE TO EXIT IF SCREENING CHECK IS NOT PASSED. We will scan 8 cars at a time. Please do not allow your child to get out of the car until we have taken their temperature. When you are directed to move up, please move up to the yellow PLEASE STOP HERE SIGN. Parents please stay in your car. NO STUDENT CAN BE DROPPED OFF! School personnel will monitor students to ensure they safely enter the building and go straight to class.
Bus Riders
- Buses will unload students at the back of the school. All children must keep their mask on while on the bus. Staff members will take temperatures of each child as they exit the bus. School personnel will monitor students to ensure they safely enter the building and go straight to class.
Dismissal Procedures
Car Riders
- PLEASE DO NOT BLOCK LANE 2. A staff member will fill lane 2 when it is time. Students will be called by number for Car Rider Pick Up beginning after 2:30pm. All parents must remain in their cars and follow the traffic pattern. Parents will not be allowed to park and walk up to retrieve their student. Cars will utilize two lanes of traffic. Car riders will be loaded in a wave of 16 cars. Eight in Lane 1 and eight in the Lane 2. If you are first in the car rider lot, please pull to the PLEASE STOP HERE sign and wait to be loaded. Once all 16 cars are loaded, you will be DIRECTED to leave campus. It is mandatory that parents have their car rider NUMBER(S) visible BEGINNING on 8/24. School personnel will assist students to ensure safe exiting of the building and entering the vehicles.
Bus Riders
- Students will load buses by ZONES when they hear their bus number called. Students will leave class and walk through the gym to get on the bus. School personnel will monitor students to ensure they safely load their bus. Attendance of bus riders will be taken by the bus driver.
Traffic Pattern Alerts
- Cars will be directed to leave once students have unloaded and loaded safely
- Double lanes will begin at the YELLOW AND RED MINION FIRE HYDRANT
- PLEASE DO NOT WALK UP AND GET YOUR STUDENT
