Dear Families,
I am incredibly honored to join the West Pine Elementary family as the new Assistant Principal. After 16 years in education, most recently as an English teacher and instructional leader at Asheboro High School, I am excited to bring my passion for supporting students, staff, and families into this new role. Throughout my career, I’ve had the opportunity to lead AP and honors programs, facilitate professional development, and support initiatives focused on student wellness and school culture. I believe in building strong relationships, leading with empathy, and creating inclusive learning environments where every student feels safe, valued, and empowered to succeed.
I am currently completing my Master’s in School Administration at East Carolina University and hold a Bachelor’s degree in English Education from UNCG. Outside of school, I’m a proud wife and mom to three amazing children who keep life joyful and busy. I’m passionate about education, and when I’m not in a school building, you’ll likely find me reading a good book or enjoying time with my family at the beach. I’m thrilled to begin this new chapter and look forward to learning and growing alongside the incredible students, staff, and families at West Pine Elementary.
Sincerely,
Megan Carrouth
Assistant Principal
West Pine Elementary School
